Beef Sautéed with Peppers and Onions Topped with Cheese

Ingredients
  • 6 oz Ground Beef Round (10% fat)
  • 1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 cup, chopped Sweet Red Peppers
  • ¼ cup, chopped Onions
  • ¼ cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
  1. Season beef with salt and freshly ground black pepper then sauté in a skillet over medium-high heat with 1 teaspoon olive oil for 2-3 minutes. Add in chopped bell peppers and onion. Continue to cook until beef is browned and vegetables are soft. Add additional salt and pepper to taste and drain off any excess juices and fat.
  2. Place on a serving plate, sprinkle with cheese and allow to melt for a few minutes before eating.
