Ingredients
  • 1½ cups mozzarella
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 1¼ cup almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp peanut oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup of chopped bell peppers
  • 2 tsp chile powder
  • 2 tsp cumin,
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 3 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Chop onion and peppers and cook in 1 tbsp peanut oil until softened. Add in the ground beef and break up with a spoon. Add the chile powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder and allspice until meat is browned. Take off heat and let cool.
  3. Add cream cheese and mozzerella to a microwave safe bowl and heat in a microwave for 1 minute. Add the egg and mix well. Stir in the flour and mix until combined.
  4. Roll the dough mixture out flat to approximately ¼" thick. Use a bowl to cut circles in the dough.
  5. Place dough circles on a piece of parchment paper lined baking pan. Add a decent amount of the meat mixture to the circles and fold over pressing firmly on the edges. Using a fork will ensure that the edges are sealed.
  6. Cook at 425 degrees for approximately 12 minutes or until crust becomes golden brown.
